Autism is becoming more common

The increase in autism is a fact. This is demonstrated by the results of research from overseas released in recent days. It turns out that 1 in 50 school-age children are affected by autism (data from National Center for Health Statistics). The previous year indicated that one child out of 88 responded to the problem of autism in America.

Researchers are wondering whether the above data reflects the increase in morbidity or better diagnostic tools available to experts. However, they have no doubt that the future will require the preparation of more experts to work with children.

100,000 people aged 6 to 17 years old were examined based on parental indications. Last year, the same study was carried out only on eight-year-olds, and school-based opinions and other official documents were taken into account.
